TGH Repentance

Repentance. There is such a misconception with this word. While it is associated with salvation, it is not totally defined by this. Yes, when we accept salvation, we repent of our sins and proclaim Jesus Lord of our lives. Repentance means to turn around and go the other way. It is the opposite of insanity, which is doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results. Repentance means to change things; to turn around and go the other way. While we will make mistakes, that doesn't mean we lose our salvation. We must turn things around. If things in your life are a mess? Repent and change them. This is the year of repentance.
