Do you have belief or do you have faith?
Do you have belief? Or do you have faith? While the two go hand in hand, there is a difference. The definition of belief is: and ACCEPTANCE that a statement is true or something exists. The definition of faith is: COMPLETE TRUST or CONFIDENCE in someone or something. You see and chair and have belief that it is there, but when you sit down you have faith that it will hold you up. The problem is we have trust and faith in what Jesus did on the cross, and that He paid for our sins, but is that where our trust stops? Just like any relationship, we have to build our trust with God. We have to read His word, communicate with Him and pray. We have to believe that God loves us truly and unconditionally. So while we need to have both belief and faith, we need to build our trust and confidence in God!
