TGH Armor of God Helmet of Salvation

The helmet was the last piece of armor to go on a soldier. It was the final preparation for combat. The helmet protects the brain (command center for the rest of the body) and is vital for survival. What is the helmet of salvation? The Word of God! By trusting and acting in the word of God we can withstand anything that might come our way. The helmet of salvation protects our mind, will, and emotions. We have to constantly renew our minds to rid them of the worldly garbage we are surrounded with on a daily basis. We have to instead fill our minds with God's word. The helmet will also help us to reject doubts that come due to circumstances we are faced with. We have to keep our focus on Jesus. If it doesn't have eternal significance, it's NOT important. We have to remember that victory is ours!! We have to stop giving the enemy so much credit and building him up to be bigger than God! He's already been defeated and we need to take responsibility instead of magnifying the enemy. Most times we end up in bad situations due to our poor choices, we need to stop focusing on the blame game and own up to our mistakes. We also have to stop speaking the promise, then turn around and speak the curse. All our hope is in Jesus! He defeated the enemy and He lives in me and you!! Through Jesus we are victorious.
