Just because You've Heard It All Your Life Doesn't Make It True

Have you heard something all your life, so you took it as truth? That's not always the case. We have to research things for ourselves. We can't just take someone else's word for it. In the story of Noah, we learned that his youngest son was cursed because he did some things to Noah when he passed out drunk. Back in those days grandsons were also called sons. So Noah's youngest grandson, Canaan, did some things to Noah and was cursed. We learned today that we can't always go on what we've been told all our lives. We need to get in God's Word and search it for ourselves. We also learned that when we accepted Jesus, the Holy Spirit came in and gave us a poop cleaning. Just like Jesus cleaned out the temple 3 times. God gave us toilet paper for us to use. God loves us and we are to love each other.
