Jonah Chapter 2

Jonah cried to God, out from the pit of death, and God heard him. Today we continued our study into the story of Jonah. When he was thrown from the ship, and swallowed by the fish, Jonah died and God resurrected him. We have to die to our selfish desires daily, in order to be resurrected in God's desires for us. His way is better than our way, and sometimes it takes extreme circumstances that often we put ourselves in, to realize this. But, through it all, God's love and mercy remain constant.
